At Operation Safe Shield, we raise funding for the ballistic glass by hosting community based benefits. Our benefits include a prime ribeye steak dinner, open bar, live music, silent auction, live auction, raffles and guest speakers.

Operation Safe Shield does not have a paid staff as all board members, officers and volunteers donate their time for the effort. We do not have a paid office space with overhead. All money that we raise goes directly to the cause less the actual expenses  of hosting the benefit.

2024 Bexar County Operation Safe Shield Online Benefit - Aug 2024 - Jan 2025

Operation Safe Shield has converted the in-person benefit to an online opportunity due to logistical issues. We had hoped to have a full access in-person benefit in San Antonio, but organizing such a massive benefit was too difficult from our home base in College Station, TX. Businesses and individuals that still want to support the local police departments in their community can do so through our online portal. You will be able to designate which department you would like to help protect!

Proceeds benefitting small Law Enforcement departments across Bexar County.

2024 Grimes County True Blue/Operation Safe Shield Benefit - August 17, 2024

The Partnership of GCTBF and OSS set a record for this year's event raising over $237,000 before expenses!! Thank you to the residents of Grimes County for supporting the law enforcement community.
